ID No : | 33 Edit | Title: | Acoustic Efficiency Analysis Using Infrasound from NEOs |
Summary / Review : |
For some of the NEOs that entered the Earth's atmosphere and were detected by the US Air Force, the authors calculated the acoustic conversion efficiencies. They present the results and methodology of their analysis. This work is related to the CTBT (Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty) infrasonic system, and is relevant in discriminating between testing of military explosive devices and NEO explosions in the atmosphere. - MP
